Excellent Place to Dine. Before I write my review, I must comment on the dislike reviews. If you didn’t enjoy Ron’s House it’s only because your palate in your mouth need readjusting. Now, Ron’s House food is very tasty to the palate and very healthy. The food is prepared with each customer in mind. I have a friend whose diabetic and the food is seasoned just right for her taste. Now,I am not saying Ron’s don’t season the food for everyone’s taste but the right amount of season is used to accommodate everyone.I like the small setting which gives the customer a neighborly feeling and everybody knows everybody. The staff has a certain spiritual relationship when engaged with the people and show respect to the customers. I view Ron;s House just like the neighborhood corner store. The owner talks with the people and make everyone feel welcome and like an old friend. You don’t see that in the big operations where your money is the only communicate with the people.I think it’s a bad thing to speak negative about a small business that is very much needed in that area especially when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big companies. You want to come to a place to relax, watch T.V. and enjoy a home cooked meal.I have tried everything on the menu and the food is great. It’s mouthwatering, and the portions are unbelieveable. You actually gets more for your money. So, the next time you are driving down Antioch Pike/Blue Hole Road. take a quick turn into the parking lot of Ron’s House and enjoy a home cook meal away from home. Run, Run, Run, to Ron’s House.

Way too busy…. My husband and I had been wanting to try Ron’s BBQ & Fish for months, so today we decided to go ahead and stop for lunch. Much to our dismay, the food and service were terrible. I don’t usually feel inclined to review anything…much less give a terrible review, but Ron’s was just that bad. It was way, way too busy, and I didn’t taste any smoke on the BBQ. I would’ve given them 3 stars for trying if the food hadn’t have tasted so bad. I could’ve cooked this at home and saved my money, and on top of that, we could’ve had a decent meal.
