Now, this story is the kind that makes apps worth it all.Dropped my son off to see a movie at Belcourt Theater since it was not a movie he could see at home.I wanted to grab some dinner drive around about 45 minutes to all the usual Nashville areas with crowded places and waits for tables. Until I decided to drive way out West End out of town to see if anything popped up. Ended up in Bellmeade area and looked at Yelp to find this gem.Now, from the outside you might not even go in BUT that would be a big mistake.No frills for sure but a very relaxed atmosphere with a few people waiting for tables. I was able to grab an end spot at the sushi bar and not wait.4 sushi chefs cranking it out and a buzz all around the place. I got grilled squid, cucumber salad and then a selection of rolls and nigiri along with sashimi tuns, fatty tuna and octopus. Very very fresh fish. Hot sake and a really different Japanese beer, Enchigo along with ginger and green tea ice cream for dessert. Why not five star? I rarely if ever give five in first or only visit. 4.5 stars. Highly recommend. Will return when in town again. Worth the drive out of main areas.
