Ended up at this tiny hole in the wall actually by accident., as I was looking for another restaurant….but I gave up on it and saw this, so I stopped in. The reviews were decent so I rolled the dice. Was the only person in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes of my dinner. But the place soon filled up. Apparently there were regulars as the chef called them by name. The fish was fresh, the chef was knowledgeable, and I ate the largest combination meal they offered. It was pretty good and at around 45 bucks with tip I felt like it was a good deal for what I ate.The white tuna was a standout but most of the other offerings were tasty as well. So why only three stars? Ambiance. Hit me for premium prices, spruce the joint up a bit…. dang. But with a stupid name like this (and this horrible location) what did I expect?
We LOVE this place. This is our regular sushi place they are so sweet to our son (1 yr. old and very rambunctious) and the food is always great! If you get their specialties you won’t be disappointed! Sweet Banana although odd sounding is incredibly delicious! Their wait staff is so polite and attentive. I cant say enough good things about this place we REALLY enjoy it!
Amongst Nashville restaurants, I’d say it’s pretty average. Server very friendly, good ambiance, serve soup as appetizer no charge. Still doesn’t break the upper tier of Nashville sushi restaurants, though.
