Another, in a small strip mall, unassuming from the outside, Asian fusion place. Here, the specialties are Thai and Vietnamese. So far, we’ve stuck to the Vietnamese side of things, just dabbling in the Thai. They have a couple of styles of banh mi (their spelling) sandwiches and what we’ve had is pretty good. Nice crisp vegetables and good bread. And, very in-expensive. They have pho with different combinations of ingredients, as most places do. While overall I like it, their broth isn’t as deep and complex as some other places. Not bad, just a little lighter. And, while tendon is one of my favorite things in pho, theirs is in chunks and a little gristley compared to others. I’ll stick to the meatball or rare beef. The Thai spring rolls were fine. Our service has generally been ok, but they always seem a little understaffed and we have gone without drink refills for awhile on occasion. While they probably aren’t our first choice for some things, we’re not against coming here when in this area.
