Cajun rip off. I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. I purchased a few dished to let my colleagues try and let me say it’s pathetic. The gator bites are micro bites, something that should cost $3.00 instead of 8 it was only maybe a handful of them over soggy fries. The boudain was ok, overcooked. The adouille sausage with beans and rice was cold and runny, the also only cut half a Hillshire farm sausage and put on top of it. Popeyes red beans in rice is twice as good. They forgot all the sauces and I payed nearly 30 dollars for three terrible dishes. Please don’t waste your money here you will be disappointed. PLEASE.

Tiny little restaurant with BIG flavor!. My husband and I got dinner to go tonight from Cajun Cove and we were impressed! Crawfish pasta is rich, creamy, and delicious, loaded with crawfish meat! It also had a yummy little sprinkling of some kind of crunchy topping (maybe panko?) that was spicy and kickin! My husband had the fried shrimp and it was crispy, spicy and flavorful and it came with a nice portion of seasoned, spicy fries. We will definitely eat there again! I’ve heard that the red beans and rice are delicious!

Tried this place because my father’s side of the family is from New Orlean’s and I love Cajun and creole cuisine. We ordered several items just to sample them. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The gator bites were dry and flavorless as were the clams. Both appetizers are served with a side of fries for some reason. The fry to clam/gator ratio was about 4 to 1. Just a pile of frozen fries with overcooked and obviously frozen seafood. Very bad. The boudin balls were average at best but they were the only thing we got that was NOT overcooked. The blackened chicken was also dry and overcooked. I would almost guarantee that it was also frozen and not fresh chicken breasts. The most disappointing thing of all was the red beans and rice. Bland, flavorless and with a pasty consistency that was just awful. They actually looked more like pinto beans than red beans. The seafood gumbo taste JUST like the Campbell’s Soup version. And that is in no way a compliment. I really didn’t have anything positive to say about this other than there was a nice spice to the blackened chicken. I would have at least enjoyed that were it not so dry and rubbery. I give this business a strong 4 out of 10. I can’t imagine they will be in business long if this is the product. I gave them a shot but in an area this competitive for restaurant business, I can’t see ever returning. Pass this one by.

Just went here for lunch. The food was wonderful and we will definitely be returning.

Will be returning.. Went there the first time on 11/12 will be returning to try some more of the menu options. Got the andouille sausage and red beans and rice and tasted very authentic. Also the owner threw in a free sample of gumbo and it was amazing as well. If you are looking for Cajun food in the area I’d recommend you stop in here.

Great Cajun Food – Locally Owned!. This little gem of a restaurant is owned & run by two Nashville brothers, and, boy, do they know how to cook Cajun food! Right now, they’re mostly set up for take-out (there are only 3 or 4 tables in the restaurant), but if you do eat there, the service is friendly and attentive. I had the shrimp etouffee and fried green tomatoes; my husband had a catfish po’ boy with a side of red beans & rice. It was all heavenly! This is the kind of place where you’ll want to eat your way through the menu. I bet it’s all good!
