Great food, bad service from owner. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was inviting. Definately a bait and switch mentaility. I ordered specifically off the lunch menu pointing at the lunch items on the menu, Lunch was 11-3, my order time was 2:40. I was charged dinner prices. When discussed with owner, she said her chef cooked me dinner portion so I pay dinner price. If Lunch is to 3 pm, lunch prices and portions should be served til 3 pm. Owner unwilling to compromise, did willingly accept living social deal. Will not return!

I love the sushi. Best place hands down

Terrible. We went for my daughters birthday. They told us when we got there that we would be seated in 5 to 10 min. After 30 min we asked again and they said same thing. We were seated after an hour and it was another hour before chef began to cook. Had my daughter not been so excited we would have left. And the waitress was extremely rude. Hibachi chef was fair–definitely not worth a two hours wait. And the restaurant wasnt even crowded. They just didn’t have enough cooks or waiters. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your time and money.

Mediocre. I’ve given this restaurant 3 tries to impress me and it failed again this weekend. I keep hoping they will improve because it is so convenient to my home but alas…I went Saturday and asked to sit in the sushi bar have a few drinks and sushi before we moved to the hibachi. They could not understand why and kept saying I could get sushi at the table. I don’t like it when all my food comes at once and I really wanted to relax with a sake first! We ordered some sushi (which was okay-ish) and 2 minutes later soup and salad come !! Wth! I pushed it aside ate my sushi and then asked to go to the table. The salad when I did eat it was swimming in water. Yuck. The miso had little flavor. Then apparently there was something wrong with the grill! So our veggies steamed instead of stir fried and the thin little steaks (that I ordered rare) turned a lovely shade of grey and had no flavor, neither did the chicken or shrimp. Even the rice was mediocre! The nice young cook kept apologizing but the damage was done and in the end I received a check for $92.00 + tip.I’m sorry for nearly $100 I expect better food. They are so eager to please but the food and timing are really off the mark.

Pleasantly surprised. Had to try it since its one of the new sushi places in Nashville and they did not disappoint. Chefs choice Sashimi was top of the line and well presented and the seafood Udon had a nice spice. They had my favorite Sake (Hakushika) which no one else in Nashville seems to have and we got a nice quiet spot on patio. I can see why people complain about the lounge act in the bar though. I wouldn’t have stayed if we had to eat near that.

We’ll be back!. We tried it out because of Groupon. But we’ll be back for sure. The restaurant’s decor appealed to us. We found very polite and helpful staff. I enjoyed the selection of drinks and menu options. The price for the food was superb. I had my 2 children with me and found it to be very family-friendly even though I could also see enjoying a date night with just my husband as well. 2 thumbs up for sure!
