Good food but long wait. My girlfriend and I went to Vittles for brunch one day while I was in Nashville visiting her. She had eggs, hashbrowns, and a pancake while I had the country fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs. The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The only problem was the wait. It took us 35-40 minutes to get our food. There were some customers there but I wouldn’t say they were extremely busy. It was 10:15 when we ordered and they switch from breakfast to lunch at 10:30 so that might have had something to do with the wait. We will go back as the food was good and assuming the wait was not a common issue.
Very good.. I have beene eating at vittles since I moved to tennesse. The food is all homemade and very good service. I love going there becuase it is a place where I am welcomed. Everyone is nice there, even the owners. I love Jan and John. So worth the stop by.
All six people in our party loved lunch at Vittles. The food was good homecooking and the service was speedy. I would go again and bring more friends!
Better than cracker barrel.
Dis A Pointed. The Southern Fried Catfish was load down with a thick batter like John John Silver’s. We are used to a thin corn meal batter. The vegetables we ok. A little pricieeeee.
Rude service. I went to Vittles a couple times upon moving to the area. The food was decent and representative of the typical meat and three. But, the service is lacking. We once waited for an hour while the hostess seated everyone else. Overall, I have been moved to go elsewhere because of the poor service here.Go to City Cafe in Brentwood as a better alternative.
Great sit-down or takeout. Good meat & three selection (usually have two or three daily specials) with good daily selection.
