SIMPLY GREAT FOOD. Had my first visit on Monday with a friend of mine who’s always known about this place. I WANTED TO STRANGLE HER!!!!!! How could we have been friends for all this time and she never mention this place????? Everything was excellent and the banana pudding is just like my mom’s!!! That’s saying a lot!! Can’t wait to go back!!!!!
The definition of a meat and 3. We were sold as soon as we saw the full parking lot at 1100 AM. Placed was packed by 1130 with folks waiting. To me this is a sign of quality….. A full parking lot. Try the fried chicken!!!! Crispy and moist. Sides are made in house.
Best kept secret. This is my favorite restaurant–really good food, consistently good–satisfying–and fast! If you only have one hour for lunch and you work downtown, you can make it. They have so many choices of sides and the chicken and pork chops are great–I have never had a pork chop that moist. A really great deal and the people there are so friendly–I would rather eat there than any of the snobbish ‘high end’ places that are usually talked about. You just can’t best this place.
Best Food Around!!!!. My mother and I are frequent visitors to Wendell Smith’s. Best meat and 3 we have been to. Friendly service and fast to get your food to u. We eat here at least 1 time a week. Must have Fried Chicken, mac and cheese or the Roast Beef
Glad to have discovered this spot after all this time. I will definitely be back. Love the country fries and friendly service. WINNER!
Good Eats!. We went out of our way to try this place – mainly because my husband share’s the name! We stopped on a Sunday only to learn that they were closed, but we returned on our way back through Nashville. We had heard all about Meat & Three’s, but coming from Kansas we weren’t sure what to expect. What we found was hearty home-cooking. We both had the Fried Pork Chop and he enjoyed the greens, buttered cabbage and corn, while I had the mac & cheese, cabbage and beans. We were glad we made the stop to check this place out!
