The Juice Bar and staff are the best!!!
Not a mini Whole Foods. Before I went to this Whole Foods I never thought I would write a review for one. My only other experience with Whole Foods was the one in Lexington Kentucky. It was much smaller. It really gave me the wrong impression of what a Whole Foods can be. Honestly in Lexington I wouldn’t bother eating at WF and like shopping at The Fresh Market and Good Foods more.At the Green Hills location every little section seems to be about twice the size of the ones in Lexington. Well other than the taco and pizza section. And this goes throughout the whole store! I was able to find stuff the Lexington store stopped carrying and more. One of the butchers at the meat counter told me this one is also bigger than the Franklin location one. So this is the one to go to. And since this WF is so big there is plenty of food to choose from depending on what type of mood you are in. Deserts, pizza, tacos, salads, BBQ, veggies, asian, american, ect… If I lived in Nashville I think I would eat here quite a bit.
Not impressed w/ the cafe. First let me state that i am from austin, tx the birth place of whole foods, so my standards are high. the store in general is great! lovely staff, clean and well stocked. the cafe however was a major bummer. i got roasted chicken, green beans, cup of veggie soup. chicken was crazy dry, beans were so hard that after two beans i shoved them aside deeming them inedible, and the soup was pretty bland. my mom however got a stromboli and that was delicious. we concluded that the food that the staff could fix and prepare/heat in front of you was much better than the food in the chafing dishes on the buffett. also checking out from the cafe was rather confusing, not very organized. all said and done, please remember that the store is great…i would just ‘do lunch’ else where.
I Love Whole Foods but….. Please stop the TACO MADNESS at the deli. I want the BBQ baked chicken and the red skinned potatoes! In any case everything including the taco’s is freaking delicious here. I could become morbidly obese if I had an infinite budget and resided near a Whole Foods location. There is just way too many yummies in this place.
Such a great place to eat that you wouldn’t think of normally. Great variety of foods and all delicious. Nice chill tables upstairs or people watch while you eat on the main floor. Juice bar, gelato, vegetarian options…everyone can find something here.
Consistantly good food. The grilled scallops dishes are always great. Don’t be afraid of th daily specials, the chefs are always trying new combinations. For comfort food, the hamburgers and fish and chips are always there.
