Whenever my husband & I go to Dickson, we visit Ichiro. We’ve had some of their Thai dishes, sushi, Japanese cuisine… never had a less than wonderful meal, whether we visit for lunch or dinner. The hibachi lunch (or dinner) is excellent. We last visited on July 2, 2015 for my birthday. We started with a bottle of red blend wine and a calamari appetizer – small but very good with tempura-style lightly battered squid rings and sweet peppers and sweet chili dipping sauce. We followed that with a shashimi appetizer consisting of tuna, salmon and white tuna (escolar) – very good and fresh. We finished with the shrimp hibachi dinner (me) and pad thai (hubby). The wait staff are always very professional and attentive, and the manager is ever present. Highly recommend.
Good Food Variety for a small town. I am so happy to have Ichiro in Dickson. I like this location for sushi and Japanese food because it is more roomy and friendlier. Their menu includes sushi, hibachi, thai and chinese dishes and a calming atmosphere. Please don’t judge this restaurant on just one visit. They are new and the manager (Billy Wong) has worked hard to get rid of the servers that are not up to par. Seating at the bar is an option if you want to see the game or a tv program up close as well. Give sushi a chance before you judge it based on other locations in the area.
Ichiro Japanese. Ate here yesterday in Dickson, TN and the food was EXCELLENT! Had the Hibachi Salmon lunch (only $6.95!). It came with a small green salad with ginger dressing, fried rice, steamed vegetables, and of course, the hibachi grilled salmon. This was the best meal I’d eaten in a long time! The fried rice was SO good. The sauted vegetables: zucchini, carrots, onions were wonderful; the salmon, delectable. I only wish there were more locations in the area besides in Dickson !!! I highly recommend Ichiro! I can’t wait to go back!
