This little out-of-the way diner is worth the search. We stopped for breakfast, prices are very reasonable and the food was good. I seldom pass up a biscuit opportunity. These are more on the yeasty side than a fluffy baking powder biscuit, but still tasty. Sausage was a little overcooked but still flavorful. Overall, if we lived there it would definitely be a favorite breakfast spot.

Delicious meat and 3. These ladies know what they are doing in the kitchen. I am never disappointed. Everything on the menu is solid – the tea and desserts are delicious, too.

Get your good vittles here. And excellent friendly service too. Stopped here on way home, wanting a good home-cooked meal, picked up a double bacon cheeseburger to go, with side of green beans [lol – yea, I know, strange combo, but was wanting to at least eat something healthy! 😉 ]. Place is nice, tidy, and clean… has a buffet that if desire you immediately go to your right upon entering the building – not go straight ahead, like a newbie stranger to the area 🙂 . However, not wanting buffet, and wanting to get the meal to go, as there was severe storm coming [actually already tickling the area, reds and yellows on the radar], got the order to go. The burger and beans came out quite quickly, plus the very excellent sweet tea – just about the best that have ever had… very good. Also got a piece of chocolate pie, and like the tea, was extremely excellent. Oh, one hint – if do get green beans to go – don’t be foolish and tip the container,,, bean juice will obey gravity and dribble onto lower surfaces. Service, as said above, was very good, as was the food. Takes a bit to get from the interstate, but well worth the drive and time.
