What a find! Phenomenal food and upscale casual ambiance.
Food was different, not your typical American cuisine, for sure higher class food. It was good, full of flavor but very expensive. I was hoping for a $50 meal by myself would blow me away, but not so much. The plating was good, the environment is great, they have a very friendly staff. I wish for a more well rounded menu with some more common foods also.
Best dining experience in Nashville. Try the tasting menu. You can not go wrong here.
Mixed review. We give 1808 Grille mixed reviews. The atmosphere was really nice, we enjoyed the interesting side dishes and Baked Alaska for dessert, but my fish came out under-done, and the assistant waiters fell down on the job several times.
1808 had amazing service and gorgeous atmosphere but the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The crispy snapper app was amazing but my quail was just okay. It wasn’t bad but for the money it just didn’t meet my every (flavor) expectation.
Love Happy Hour. Was visiting the area a few months ago and had the opportunity to stop at 1808. To be honest, I was surprised at the decor, which was very appealing first, but the service is what set it apart. Sat at the bar and decided to grab some food and a few drinks. From the host at the desk to the bartenders and the servers, everyone was great. Enjoyed the Wasabi peanuts too! Food was good. The dressing on my burger was a little too much. Made the sandwich too messy almost, the taste was awesome. Might need to cut it first! Recommended!! I need to stay in that hotel!
Like it. This is not my favorite Nashville restaurant, but I have to say the food here is good. I’ve normally really liked the food here, I just wish they had a couple more menu options each evening. They have always had a vegetarian or vegan dish available. Their food is all local and mostly organic too, so if you’re in Nashville and wanting some place healthy and special to eat at, this is a good choice and worth a stop.
