We went there with another couple near Christmas and the place was decorated very nicely adding to the ambience. The wait staff was excellent. We started by sharing two salads, the cauliflower and the kale. Both salads were outstanding and more than enough for 4 people to share. We had the JW Chicken and the Bavette Steak. Both were excellent dishes.
Went here in a group of four. Everyone’s meal was fantastic! Portion size could have been a bit larger for the gnocchi, however the chicken seemed to be nice sized. Overall Highly recommended
Our food was really great from start to finish – fresh, homemade pasta, savory lamb and homemade potato chips and yummy trout dip. A homemade apple pie and ice cream were also delish. Downsides- we were seated down in an enclosed patio despite an early reservation. I saw another party refuse to take the table and be seated in the much nicer area up the stairs (should have been more demanding). Nice, reasonable wine list and we ordered a bottle. Apparently the check they gave us was wrong (my husband paid it) so they called me afterward to charge us more. I understand that we all make mistakes but it seemed somewhat cheesy. Having been a server I thought she might get stuck with the deference and so did not complain. Anyway, fun night overall but probably won’t go back.
