My husband and I stay at The Omni frequently and the hotel is fabulous. The only complaint about The Omni is the food that is served in Barlines. I do not care for the food at all. I would love to rate it higher because we love the hotel and frequent this bar often but I just cannot. The bar itself is awesome. It’s huge and they have two separate bars so there is almost alway a spot at the bar. If you prefer a table, well they have plenty of those too. They also have indoor/outdoor seating with roll up doors and heaters outside when it’s chilly. They have tons of TVs and it’s a great place to watch the UK games! Go Cats!! They also have a stage and live music most evenings. It’s a fun atmosphere, especially if you are a guest in the hotel. The crowd appears to be young professionals and I like that too. It’s not a cheesy broadway type bar. Now…the food. Yuck. I don’t understand why the food isn’t better here. They have a small bar food type menu. It’s certainly not the worst, but I expect better considering it’s an Omni. The other restaurants are great in the hotel and room service is not bad either. We’ve tried most of the menu items because we do stay there a lot and we love the convenience and ambiance. We’ve ordered fried pickles, wings, chicken nachos, burgers, meatloaf, pulled pork, salads, and pizza. All mediocre. Again, not the worst but just not good. If I was forced to order something I would likely get the pulled pork sandwich or a margarita pizza. Go for the drinks, music, and TVs but I recommend eating before you go. Sorry Omni.
Ate here out of pure hungry and convenience and were very pleasantly surprised. The burger and salad we had were great. So good in fact, that we had to ask for the thousand island dressing recipe. It is that good. Did I mention the cocktails were FANTASTIC?!? Yum. Service great, food great, everything great!
