Looking this week for something unusual. Started looking for a Sushi restaurant. Not sure really how this worked out but wen there and discovered much more than Sushi. They DO have Sushi. However I didn’t make it that far. The place is located on a bit of a corner but able to park across the street in a parking area. With a name like their opted for a fried dish (pictured). had the Fishermans platter. The bottom of the bottom of the plate was covered with fries. The top had the following … Cod, scallops, shrimp, clams and oysters. Golden , crunchy, delicate , flavorful and moist. Served with a side of slaw and the regular condiments of tarter and cocktail sauce. The entre was like $25.00 but really worth every dollar. Will so sure be heading back there again….maybe then …I’ll try the Sushi?

Our last meal in Nashville for this trip and we decided to go to Battered and Fried for a late lunch. We arrived a little after 2pm Sunday and were immediately seated. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer of fried pickles and calamari. All four of our party chose the fried cod basket (14 oz. for $11.99) which came with fries. Our appetizers came out quickly and were crispy and tasty. Our fish baskets came out soon after, and were hot and equally good. It would be nice if the fish dinners came with hush puppies. Our waitress did a nice job taking care of us. She refilled our drinks and cleared our plates. We had an enjoyable lunch.
