Ingredients were fresh and top of the line! We tried almost everything on the menu and all was very good. French Toast was one of the favorites. My biscuits and gravy were not very warm. Restaurant itself was very cute and I liked the water stations. Service and seating was almost a nightmare!! No organization or order of how things came out. Several people in our group never got their coffees and forget about even asking for jam or something like that.
Some say this place is overrated, but I couldnt disagree more. I waited about 30 minutes then got right in and received our food quickly. (Sometimes you wait 30 minutes for your food at other restaurants so the wait is worth it.) All our dishes were so delicious. The shrimp and grits is a must!
The food was great and the service was pretty fast. My husband had their famous sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has ever had. We did get there at the perfect time because when we left it was wrapped around the building (cause they are that good). We will be back to try the bonuts because they looked amazing.
This place has some of the best southern food ever! Great biscuits and gravy…. plus…. the bacon. You have to get some bacon here. Worth the wait. Line moves fast.
We went to the Hillsboro Village location on a Saturday. The wait was way shorter then the Gulch, the staff was great and very helpful as it was just me with 4 kids, ages 3-14. I was pretty disappointed in the food. The biscuits are sweet which I don’t care for. The cheese grits were good. My eggs were under cooked and there’s nothing I can stand less then runny egg whites. My kids were disappointed too and they love biscuits. My 12 year old (and pickiest) got the hot chicken biscuit and he loved it. He ate more then I’ve seen him eat in a long time. So if you go get that!
The Bonuts are the fire. The hot chicken sandwich is really good too, just a bit much on the breeding though. Really great brunch spot for sure
Long lines at restaurants don’t always pay off. Biscuit Love does! Do the line! It moves fairly fast and the payoff at the end – Bronuts, Biscuits, and the rest – is really, really good food!
