With all the coffee shops popping up all over town, the more I appreciate the level of coffee perfection that Crema has achieved… And without any arrogance or snobbery. What really makes them stand out are their roasts. Roasted in house, this has become one of my favorite brands in the country. So glad I have them here in my hometown.
Crema is one of the best coffee shops around, which is something to say given the recent boom in quality coffee in Nashville. They have a more citrusy roast, so if you’re looking for espresso in that vein, this place is for you. If you want a nuttier roast, I would recommend Barista Parlor in East Nashville. Regardless, crema does have one standout item that truly makes it special, and that is the coffee soda. It really is an experience worth seeking out and I can’t recommend it enough. However, it is usually only available in summertime.
Everything was so tasty. Try the day old muffins for a discount or go BIG and get avocado toady. Their quiche game is also strong. Good spot for tea or coffee
WOW. This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops in Nashville. I absolutely love to get a Cuban. It is a very good drink and the froth on top is perfect. Their macarons are also very, very good. Utterly Nash makes super good sweet treats.
This place is a rising star in specialty coffee circles in the south. With a very hip vibe, it is seemingly built in an old factory or industrial space. The crowd is eclectic- hipsters mingle with college kids and soccer moms and middle aged men in bicycling regalia- read old men in bicycle shorts, not pretty but I digress. The coffee- pour over single origin black coffee was delicious- complex, fruity, not over or underextracted. Alas the problem is that it can get a but crowded- the same eclectic crowd that ensures it’s success may also be it’s downfall. And yes, I can be a curmudgeonly coffee sneek. (Snob and geek).
Very hipster chic, but delicious coffees and bagels. Great for those wanting something other than $bucks.
Delicious latte and mocha. Experienced fast and kind service. Would definitely go again.
