Consistant and VERY yummy. I have not had anything on the menu that I didn’t like. The black bean nacho’s are my favorite. Beer selection is great, and front patio has a really cool vibe.

Great barbecue. I stopped by at 5pm on a hot summer afternoon to get take-out barbecue. The bartender was very friendly and helpful, got my order in and out quickly and gave me a nice glass of iced tea – perfect when it was 105 F outside. The barbecue and sides were outstanding. We had both the brisket and pulled pork and both were hot, flavorful and tender. The sauces were excellent. We will get barbecue from Drifters any time we’re in Nashville.

Very rude management. Music too loud. Good food. Will not go back because of how we were treated.

Great Place to hang out and laugh. I recently went to Nashville for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. We ended up at Drifters and stayed for much longer than we thought we would. The staff, especially bartender Leah, made us feel very much at home. I can’t wait for my next visit to Nashville!

Always What I Need It To Be. Drifters may not have THE BEST BBQ in town, but they more than make up for that with their other attributes. These are as follows:1. Awesome drink specials ALMOST all of the time.2. Creative entrees like brisket chimichanga3. Tasty home-made sauces4. Fried pickles and the puppies that are hushed5. Super nice staff6. Five points bar that’s not ass to elbow for twofersI usually go to Drifters when I want to go somewhere, but don’t really feel like getting dressed-up, or totally dressed. I’ve gone there at 11pm for food and a fireball on the rocks more than once in what some might consider pajamas. I love it. They always feed me good food and get me drunk and my tab is usually under $15. (I don’t drink much)

I had high hopes for Drifters. A sit down BBQ restaurant in East Nash?! Great, or so I thought. Service was TERRIBLE. I don’t know what role the man carries that seated us, but did someone just shoot his dog? After ten minutes of being served bloody marys, I literally had to go inside and get straws an ask another server for water. No one ha been by to take our order by 15 minutes. We finally get a server and ordered the BBQ nachos, pulled pork sandwich and BBQ chimichanga. The nachos were decent. The brisket was dry on the nachos. The pork was dry in the sandwich an the fries unflavorful. The chimichanga was just awful. Dry pork, crap cheese on top. I wouldn’t go back until I hear they’ve changed the service and kitchen staff. This place has such potential. It’s sad that it wasn’t great.
