We should have turned and run when 3 of the 8 water glasses were chipped and replaced by not so clean ones. Drink orders were taken then food orders were taken. when food started to come out is where everything got out of hand. there was no consistency of what came out when some of my party got food some didn’t apps jumbled up with entrees. The poorly trained waiter was working his tail off covering the entire restaurant and all we got from the only manager we got to talk to was the assistant food and beverage manager from the hotel was basic lip service. and I don’t know if it was coincidental but my entre did not come out till after all others in my party had finished their meal. oh and I’m still waiting for a phone call from someone in senior management because I know these incidents are not covered so not correctedShow less
Solidly good food, and they were able to seat ten people on a Saturday night on short notice. We were drinking cocktails at Patterson House and getting peckish. Used OpenTable and snagged a quick reservation for the group, walking to the Embassy Suites to eat. It is hard to find given it requires entering the hotel, but it is a really convenient midtown location.Service was good and fast. I had the Drake & Boar, a duck and pork burger that was really tasty. What a winning combo of meats! The fries were good too. I don’t know that I would seek this place out again as a destination, but if I am hungry in midtown and everything else is slammed, this seems like a good option. Not overly pricey either. adventuresinaubreyland.com
Too many great choices in walking distance!. I was hoping that the restaurant in the Embassy Suites would be an improvement from the former occupant. Oddfellows just opened so hopefully things will improve, but my experience was lack luster! I arrived late so I called and ordered a Caesar salad for pickup. After waiting 10 minutes past the pick up time… I received a pile of whole romaine lettuce leaves, some bland chicken and Caesar dressing in a cup. Edible but for the $15 price I would suggest walking the very short distance to other eateries in the area. 🙁
Finally! A good hotel restaurant in downtown Nashville!. Oddfellows opened on August 27, 2014 at The Embassy Suites hotel in downtown Nashville. I often stay at this particular location on business and was excited to see that a new restaurant was replacing the tired Omaha Steaks steak house. Oddfellows did not disappoint. Service was fantastic, and the food was very good. I ordered the Double Buttered Biscuits and Beer Cheese Soup. Both were well prepared and very tasty. The real winners here is the beer menu. Oddfellows specializes in locally brewed beers and the Brother Maynard Belgium is a real standout. Perfection! I will definitely seek out Oddfellows again, when visiting Nashville.
