My husband and I stopped in Five Points for lunch Sunday at 11:45. We arrived just before the church crowd. This was our first time there. The exterior matched the interior with concrete floors, exposed ventilation pipes painted black, industrial and low key. We were seated immediately in a booth near the window. Our server came over, got our drink order and brought chips and salsa. I ordered the tamales verde ($9.50), but substituted red sauce for the verde sauce and left off the pico. My husband got the lunch jumbo burrito with ground beef ($6.99). Our food took a little bit because a few large tables came in a few minutes after us. The food was hot and tasted really good. The only downside was the service. Once we got our food, he did not come back until we were almost done eating and our glasses had been empty for a while. Not bad lunch for $20
We ate dinner at this establishment and really enjoyed it overall. The portions were really large and the food was seasoned very well. The cheese dip was thinner than most, but other than that, everything was good. The service was also pretty good considering we visited on a busy Friday night.
