Pork shoulder was amazing. Some of the best bbq in the USA. Fun atmosphere too!!! There is often a line. Lots of seating indoor and out. Right by the Ryman on Broadway. Affordable
BBQ was decent. Was more of a kitchen with a mess hall dining area as to be expected for fast food. Didn’t really have much of an atmosphere. Going downtown Nashville one would expect live music and cheery entertainers. BBQ had decent flavor with little smoke. I had the smoked sausage and it had a good snap to it but not entirely too much smoke. Their mac and cheese was good though. I tried their sweet and smoky sauce which was nice.
Even if you have to go into the Broadway tourism central- do it- you will not be disappointed. As an individual with a gluten allergy, I was happy to see that they had everything marked for what had gluten in it and what did not. Their sauce was gluten free! I ate a pork shoulder plate and tried each of their sauces. In my opinion, this restaurant had the best bbq sauce. I watched the meat fall right off the bone as they cut it in front of me. Delicious.
Stopped here today while visiting Nashville. Barbecue was good…. a little salty but tasty. The potato salad was delicious and so was the Mac n cheese. Friendly service.
The brisket was amazing, I usually hate Mac and Cheese but theirs was so good! You can’t go wrong with any of sauces or sides…green beans, mashed potatoes, cucumber salad…every side was delicious. Well worth the wait in line!
Delicious BBQ, well worth the wait. My jacket still smells of the finest smoked meats…I contemplated eating it for breakfast. The ribs were very good with the right amount of dry rub. The coleslaw was very good and complimented the rack of smoked meat treats. Don’t be dissuaded by the line…Quick edit…the corn bread…don’t do it. I wouldn’t feed the dried out chunk of cornmeal to Steven Avery in prison, it was that bad…nobody deserves that cornbread.
