This is a must if you’re in town and want to see some great music. It has an awesome vibe and great food, too. One of the best spots for writers rounds in town.
A great place with a nice warmth. The friendly staff and management make one’s experience personal and the food is better that many of the pricey new ‘Johnnycomelately’ restaurants that have popped up in town. It feels as if Chris and his staff are more interested in quality dishes vs ‘foodie fad’ plates that are high on fancy names and artistic appeal but essentially not that great to eat (or digest). These people are always trying to best themselves and we send many of our bnb guests down their to hear great music and partake of the lovely food offerings.
We have visited the Listening Room Cafe several times last year and have always had fun! Great food, great service and great music. This is a must for anyone visiting Nashville!!!
One of Nashville’s best kept secrets for good food and real live music…..original stuff…no impersonators. I recommend this place to all my friends that come visit and want to see the real Nashville.

I went for the music, to look for new artist that are unsigned. I found a lot of talented musicians in a comfortable environment and diversity in the artist that performed. One of my favorite places to look for artist and songwriters! I have had a few drinks and appetizers and enjoyed them all. Also very reasonably priced… I have not been to Sunday brunch but here its really good….
Thoroughly enjoy the music experience at this venue. Staff is always friendly and helpful for parking, front desk and servers. The great music at the Listening Room is why we always return on a regular basis. The food has changed over the years we have gone to the Listening Room but we can always find something on the menu we like. Always enjoy the atmosphere at the Listening Room.
