Favorite restaurant in Nashville. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Especially the Dolan (pizza) . Authentic Italian vibe with modern edge. Great service and friendly bartenders.
Let’s be real. Maf’s is hit or miss. You can have great pizza one night and the next week not so much. Drinks are sometimes not as cold as they could be. First time I had build your own pasta it was great. Last time it had it they put in so much sundried tomato I could taste nothing else. I started picking them out and there was over a cup of them lol. Decent dining area. Ok bar/patio. Ok place overall, but not a destination.
Hostess. The food is great but the hostess was extremely rude
I’ve been comin here for over ten years, and it never disappoints. First trip back in about a year, and we took some Mafiaoza’s virgins with us. Tuesday nights are a real treat. I had forgotten about the two for one beer and slices of pie. I got one of my favorite dishes, The Joey and my wife ordered the Last Request in the Don size pie to share. The Joey is spicy for some so beware, but I just can’t get enough of the spicy vodka sauce. Both pizzas were slightly overdone on the bottom. JUST FYI: hold the jalapenos on the Last Request if you are sensitive to a little heat. My wife thought that they would be cooked with the pizza, as this wasn’t the case. Service here can be hit or miss so be prepared. Try the excellent selection of local Yazoo beers or check the extensive beer selections while you wait. Parking can be difficult to find during peak times, but I could say that about just about every restaurant Iin Nashville.
Pizza. Thin crust pizza, which I am no usually not a fan of, was fantastic. fresh taste for each ingredient. we will come back and try more.
Molto Autentico!. This pizza is awesome! Delicious crust, great sauce and fresh toppings, what more could you ask for? Currently living in New Orleans but was born and raised in NY and I can definitely say this is an excellent pizza place. When my wife and I go there we don’t even watch the TVs, just the guys making the pizza!If you’re in Nashville, Mafiaoza’s is a MUST!!
Just eh.. First of all, I want to like this place. The first time I ever ate there my food was amazing, have yet to have a good meal since then. Last time I was there I got the chicken and sun dried tomato lasagne (spring lasagne or something like that) which was COLD. I don’t mean a little cold, it was cold to the center and the cheese was not even melted. I had to send it back 3 times for it to actually be cooked, and by the time I finally got food warm enough to eat everyone else with me was done so I had to inhale my food because we were on a time crunch. The drinks are good, they carry 4 Roses whiskey which is one of my favorites and one of its only saving graces. I would be willing to try it again, but will not be going if I am in a hurry.
