One of my favorite Nashville restaurants. I’ve been going to Midtown for a long time, and have yet to experience anything less than excellent service and great food. Had dinner there less than a week ago and it was perfection.
Hairy guys night out.. Good food great service. Nice ambiance.
Dinner was good! The shrimp and grits was very flavorful, really enjoyed it. A little pricey but worth it.
Great place. I enjoyed the food and the ambiance at Midtwn. I went here one night with clients and enjoyed it so well I took clients the next day. All enjoyed their food,
Nice Lunch Spot. Beat the crowd by 5 minutes. 11:30 it just went ‘whoosh’ and filled up. Get there at 11:25 for a seat. Parking is a mess, plan to valet.Service was great. We had the short rib tacos – outstanding. May be the best item we had during our stay. Had a couple of salads, junk salad and white bean. The junk was big and filling. The white bean was hard to find. Lots of croutons and not much salad. Disappointing. Very tasty what little was there.Nashville isn’t loaded with creative restaurants. I’d consider it for dinner but you need the waiter to guide you. If not, it could be a disappointment.
Bring An AMEX Platinum Card or A Sackfull of $$. Upscale, high priced but a decent menu. The Vichyssoise was a bit different than any I’ve previously tasted. Our waitress wasn’t sure of the ingredients but it tasted as if buttermilk was used instead of the usual heavy cream since it had an unusual tartness. I liked it, whatever it was.The crab cakes were good, but definitely not among best I’ve eaten. Service was attentive and efficient.Good place to impress a client and quiet enough to be able to carry on a conversation.
Stopped in on a Wesnesday night for dinner while on a business trip to Nashville. I sat at the bar and ordered the Shrimp and Grits with a house salad to start. The salad was very fresh and was served with 4 fantastic mini buttermilk biscuits! The best part of the meal was the Shrimp served on a bed of Smoked Gouda Grits topped with mushrooms, onions and bacon all swimming in a delicious spicy tomato broth! Wow, great food and great service, thanks Midtown!
