First time at any Morton’s. Morton’s has a great atmosphere for special occasions. Service was really good and the filet was exceptional. I noticed they offer private dining for groups.
Great food, Excellent service. The best chain restaurant I’ve ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a place downtown to get a great steak this is it.
Best Steakhouse in Nashville. I have been to all the top steak restaurants in Nashville. This is the best by far. Great service.
We have been coming to Morton’s for over five years. Last night was very disappointing. The 12 ounce filet was not The quality that I remember. We ordered it medium and it came out rare. We sent it back and had it cooked some more, but honestly it will still undercooked when It came back out. For place like Morton’s where you pay $52 for fillet, we are now considering not ever going back there.
Very Disappointing. Hosted clients for dinner. We started with drinks and appetizers. My Cadillac margarita was excellent; my guests had house wine. We had lump crab cakes (one of the best I’ve ever had), prosciutto and cheese which my guests seemed to enjoy and lobster cocktail which was rubbery and tasteless. Both guests had soup which they seemed to enjoy; I had beefsteak tomatoes with mozzarella cheese which was very good. Dinner was not so good and did not come with any sides. One guest had sea bass and left half. The other had a filet and said it was too tough, so after one bite she took a doggy bag for her dog! (Rather expensive dog food!) I had mixed grill with two different kinds of shrimp that were rubbery and tasted the same. I never ate the salmon because I just wanted to get the bad taste out of my mouth. We all split desserts: chocolate molten cake (ordinary), carrot cake (good and I usually don’t like carrot cake), key lime pie (very good) and a souffl that tasted like egg paste and made me gag. My clients both said they didn’t want to return. For all this mediocrity, the bill was over $400!
I took my wife to Morton’s for our 15th Wedding Anniversary & we were delighted! The food was amazing & the server Jeff was just as great! My wife had the Filet & I had the bone in Ribeye & they were amazing! I strongly recommend the Smoked Mac & Cheese with bacon as a side as it was delicious! I would absolutely recommend & will personally return to Morton’s in the future.
Great Food. We had a private party with our own room and weight staff. We had Ahi Tuna Crisps and Crab Cakes for appetizers. They were both very good. I had the filet and it was great. Perfectly cooked. Overall great food and great experience.
