The food was good, but WARNING!… If you are not all about spicy food, be sure to get the chicken Southern Fried (which is plain). Even with the mild spices, this chicken was pretty spicy for someone who appreciates spice. Had to have the water keep coming (and it wasn’t very frequently), and ordered ranch to go with the chicken. The beignets were great, but certainly not New Orleans.
I tried the hot chicken (mild) and a cup of gumbo. My girlfriend insisted we try the chicken skin and she had tenders as an entree. All of the chicken (and skins) was good. I probably wouldn’t get the gumbo again but will definitely be back. Liked the atmosphere in there.
Chicken wings had a really good smokey taste with the sauce adding to the taste. We had medium and barbecue jack. Didn’t like the long wait because there was no one in front of us and there were at least three visible open tables. Must have been under staffed.
Went there very good hot chicken nice beer selection valet parking was nice will be going again my wife got the mild chicken and loved it even had Mac and cheese the Granson loved
Not particularly impressed with our experience at Party Fowl. We came in for Sunday dinner, and while the place wasn’t busy the service was rather slow and inattentive. We felt like we always had to flag down our server, and we almost always had empty water glasses on the tables in need of refills. We started with the Onion Loaf, which was probably one of my favorite things for the meal. The onions were thin and crispy and good. If I came back, I’d order it again! We ordered different meals, with skillet mac ‘n’ cheese and mashed potatoes as sides. I ordered the Hot Chicken B+B which was a hot chicken breast with maple bourbon beignets. The beignets were somewhat lackluster, very flat and greasy. The chicken was pretty good, but again very greasy. I prefer other hot chicken joints in town to be honest… This stuff was just okay, hence the 3-star review. The sides were disappointing. The mashed potatoes had formed a crust and seemed like they’d been on a warmer for a long time. The macaroni (one of my usual favorite things to eat) was lackluster in flavor. We had lots left over and didn’t care to bring it home with us because we didn’t love it. adventuresinaubreyland.com
Medium Hot Chicken spices bloomed with pleasantly hot and spicy aftertaste. Great beer list on draft. 33 ? options. Had a big table with 14. Well trained staff.
Fantastic food and service! Great local beers on tap. We had the hot chicken (mild) and the hot chicken po boy (hot). Piggy chips were very good as well.
