Sucked, the website said it was open at 11 but we get there at noon and it was closed, seems this is the summer hours, so why didn’t you update your website? Too stupid? Probably, never eat there,
The service was horrible. Our drinks and food took over two hours to serve. Half of the food was cold and the other half came out under cooked or not at all. We came for a bachelorette party and would hight NOT recommend.
Fun place to eat. I really liked what I ordered and the food, the atmosphere, the service were all good. I had the portabella sandwich with truffle mayo that was delicious. I ordered it with the side salad, which was huge and very nicely presented. My husband had the sliders, which were kind of bland, but his french fries were delicious. My husband’s business colleague ordered the buffalo chicken sliders, and they were way spicy. We also shared the appetizer of fried peppers and pickles, which were good but all kind of tasted the same. If you like a good burger, I would suggest Ted’s Montana Grille near Vanderbilt first, but this was not bad.
Best Balance of GREAT Atmosphere, Food, and Service – an All-Around Fave. Pour House Burgers, Bourbons, and Brews (not to be confused with JB’s Pour House in Hermitage), is by far one of the coolest places in Nashville – for 3 reasons: 1. The atmosphere is AMAZING. There’s an open main floor with an inside/outside bar and plenty of outside seating with a view of the upper Gulch. There’s also an upstairs area that offers an even better view, and again, has both inside and outside seating. It’s a great place to sit at the bar or to go with a group. They also have live music on certain nights. 2. The menu has something for everyone. It’s American cuisine with flavor and some clever twists to make it interesting. You’ll be a fan of several dishes, I’m sure… as well as the drinks. 3. The service is second to none. I’ve been there enough to have encountered several of their first class servers and bartenders, hosts, hostesses, and even the Manager, Robin – who is absolutely the nicest and sharpest GM that I’ve seen in Nashville. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and their service is genuine. NOTE: If you’ve seen a review that isn’t so positive, it’s probably from a while ago, when Pour House opened. The food and service have improved immeasurably, and the addition of the upstairs has been great for the atmosphere. It’s been constantly improving over the past year, and gets Thumbs Up and 5 Stars from me!
Meh. Had lunch there, hungry for an amazing burger. I got an ok burger. Blue cheese with onions and avocado. Side of french fries that the server said were hand cut and fresh. Partner had a burger and house made chips. Problem was the fries were barely warm and were rather stale. We had a 1:45 so maybe they were made at 11:00 and had been sitting. They should have been fresh and hot. The server was attentive and helpful. I wouldn’t both coming back when everywhere in town has a regular burger and fries.
My husband and I read the reviews but decided to take a chance anyway. The atmosphere was great! We sat outside downstairs. Our server Jamie was excellent!!! I really can’t say enough about the service he provided. He was professional, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we were happy. The burger was the best we’d had since we’ve been in TN. It had the old fashioned, fresh taste. Jamie recommended a local beer after finding out what our preferences were, and even brought a sample of another beer for my husband to try out. From beginning to end, our experience at the Pour House couldn’t have been better!
On a scale of 1-10: I give it an 8. Great Service, Extensive Beverage (beer) Selection, Delicious Appetizers, and decent burgers.
