At d heart of downtown by tootsies n stage. So a good start to the evening fpllowed by night out at regulars…they brew their own beer but you can tell them your choose of beer n they match it up with their locals. I like lights so the guy told me which one would match miller light. Food is good n typical America mostly. I liked their chicken nacho cheese n pretzels..lobster n shrimp enchiladas is a good option for sea food lovers

Good beer and ambiance to catch a game. Food was just ok. Mashed potatoes tasted great but would not recommend the shrimp and lobster enchiladas. The tortillas, filling, and rice were all very dry and tasteless.

Rock Bottom (formerly Big River) is a fun place to hang out and have lunch and drinks. This is a chain restaurant but I haven’t been to any other locations other than Nashville so it was new to me. They have great bar food. If you are in this area of downtown you are likely looking for bar food and music vs fine dining. There aren’t many fine dining options in this immediate area. I think Rock Bottom is fun and my husband and I love to have lunch here when we are in town. We always sit at the bar but there is also an outdoor patio (probably great for people watching), plenty of indoor tables, and a rooftop area. We usually have great service and the food has been generally good. They brew their own beer here so if you enjoy beer this may be a good place to try. I am not a beer drinker (don’t gag beer people) so I just like to order a domestic beer or two. On some visits, they said they only serve their brew, on other visits you can get domestics too. Make up your mind. In the past I purchased some great pint glasses featuring (I assume) their brews but I haven’t seen these for sale lately. I hope they make some more. You can also purchase growlers here so that’s nice if you like their beer. Now on to food…This place serves great bar food. They have my favorite chicken fingers and we get an order each time. They also serve one of my favorite burgers–the 2:00 AM Burger. It has a hash brown on the bottom bun plus cheese, bacon, and topped with a fried egg. We’ve tried many menu items and just about everything has been good. We’ve enjoyed street tacos, guacamole, nachos, calamari, salads, burgers, fish and chips, etc. All good. The only really negative experience we’ve had was once when I ordered a 2:00 AM burger it was served to me without the hash brown and one of the sides I ordered was missing. When I asked about it I was told that the kitchen was out of hash browns and the side. That’s fine, places run out of certain foods but they should come out and let me know so I can change my order. The hash brown is pretty important on this burger. If I didn’t care about it I would just order a cheeseburger. That wan’t impressive but not a huge deal. Give this place a try and don’t forget the chicken fingers !

Great food, excellent views from the roof. Please note that the menu on the roof is not a full menu. Also they allow smoking on the roof.

Cool atmosphere. Food was pretty good but came out cold and took awhile to come. Go onto the balcony and check out the view of Nashville for awesome photo opportunities

Fun environment, good food, and good service. The Santa Fe Ranch Chicken Salad was very fresh and crunchy. The fried toppings were crunchy and not greasy. Overall experience was very pleasant.

We really weren’t feeling any of the restaurants in downtown Nashville.. So, we decided that Rock Bottom looked like a general one that would be safe.We got what we expected- good but not great food. It reminded me of a Chili’s or other chain. Here are the scores:Mac and cheese w/chicken: 8/10Tequila marinated chicken sandwich: 6/10 way average. French fries: 7/10 just ok
