One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried. The sauces had an excellent flavor and I enjoyed everything we tried. This restaurant definitely tops the several other Indian restaurants I’ve tried in the area in my search for quality food.
The service was amazing, as well as the food. Definitely unique tastes and a creative menu, but very enjoyable. Authentic Indian cuisine and spices are expertly added. Overall impressive.

Horrible service owner incredibly rude, cheap jerk refused to give up an extra table to accomadate my family. Go to Bombay place down the road they have much better service.
Favorite Indian restaurant. I’ve only had dinners here, but everything has been great. I always come away feeling full and happy, which mean that they did a good job 🙂
Makes me happy. This is by far the best Indian food restaurant in Nashville! The meat is tender, the gravies are flavorful, the kheer is creamy and thick, and the naan is delicious! Sometimes, restaurants make their chicken masala taste like Chef Boyardee. That is definitely not the case here. The staff and the manager are very friendly, too.
Love this place. Food is wonderful. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you aren’t familiar with Indian food, don’t be afraid to say so. I find the staff are more than willing to help you and will offer you modified heat choices on spicy dishes. If you are a newbie, go when it isn’t prime dining time to any cultural cuisine type restaurant. In my experience, the staff will really want to show their customers about their menu choices and make suggestions based on your experience. Sitar makes for a wonder, intimate dining experience at night and is fast and friendly during the day as well.
