Always amazing!. I have been going to South Street for approximately 8 years now. I always have a great time, great food, great wait staff and great environment! I always enjoy taking new people to South Street. My favorites include the Bacon Bleu Cheese Chips, Jerk Chicken, Broccoli casserole (I could eat a gallon of it), and the amaretto chile creme brulee! I can’t wait to go back again soon!
From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. The server was awesome and seemed to like his job. Our food was hot and delicious. We started with the fried pickles, which I would definitely recommend, and the roasted oysters which were just ok to me (in my mind no oysters compare to Acme in New Orleans!). I had the SS Crab Shack and my boyfriend had the Head-On Jumbo Spicy Shrimp. I was very pleased with the quality and amount of crab legs. I hate when I get scrawny crab legs. They were also seasoned to perfection. I tasted a shrimp which was huge, and it too was great. This was the first time I felt full just from seafood! Our total bill was under $100 which amazed us since we didn’t look at prices lol! I can’t wait to return.

Dive refers to their ratings. We use to like going there but seems to get worse every time . We won’t be back! Don’t order the shrimp boil appetizer, It’s a joke. Ten dollars and you get 6 tiny shrimp (Which they call jumbo). Food just doesn’t taste as good as it once did. Our waitress was fine but one of the waitress made us move from where we wanted to sit because we only had four people in our group. It was four in the afternoon and there was two other people in the whole place. Needless to say, The seats we wanted were never occupied the whole time we were there.
