This is the quintessential overpriced steak joint. Surly waitstaff, bitchy greeter, caricatures of celebrities on the wall. Au gratin potatoes, asparagus, etc. All delicious. Dont get me wrong, its an awesome steak, but is it worth $50? Not really. Its a good splurge, otherwise keep your money. It loses points due to the high prices. Christ I had cheaper and better meals in Paris!!
First of all the overall impression is good place but overpriced. The restaurant could not find our reservation that the concierge made from our hotel – but that did seat us promptly , albeit next to the kitchen – no doubt the punishing table . The staff was quick, efficient but slightly gruff . This may be my perception as my wife didn’t have a problem with the service.Food was great. Filet cooked to perfection. Wine list very good selection.
