After ordering a drink, the pretentious hipster bartender insulted us multiple times for no reason at all. I just don’t understand why someone whose job is to provide hospitality and service would be downright disrespectful to a guest. Total bullshit. It’s a really cool atmosphere and food looks great though. The cocktail was good but was really expensive for how small it was. I have never written a review of a place, but I can’t get over how terrible of a person that guy was.
The service was poor, the waiter was grungy looking andunkempt. He tried to sell us the full menu and then told us that each personwould be served when the food came out but not all together. He advised us NOsubstitutions were allowed. When we asked for salt he said it was an insult tothe chef. The food was the INSULT. Half of it was unsalted completely and thenother diners said their food was way over seasoned. No one got to eat at thesame time. Some diners got their food 15 to 20 minutes before others meaningsome of our party was through eating before the others had even started. Theydon’t bother to tell you that the parking lot next door is a paid lot. Thesignage coming off of one street into the parking lot is not visible thereforeit would have been nice for them to tell us. My daughter got a 66.00 ticket forparking there even though she wasn’t aware that it was a paid lot. (Note it washer bachelorette weekend so this put an extreme damper on it) The server wasnothing but rude and offered no help for the ticket she received and even saidthat he had never had a complaint. (out and out lie as I can’t imagine otherdiners have not suffered because of them not bothering to ask the guest if theyparked in the paid lot) The last insult of the evening came before we hadfinished visiting, we were asked to leave as the next party had arrived andthey needed our table. Mind you the reason it took so long for us to eat wasthey way the food was served which was coming out in a piece meal style.Basically the reason we were there so long was because of them, not us. Lastly,eat here at your own risk. The atmosphere was cool but the food, the serviceand their team stunk. If you want good customer service, go to Burger King, nothere. I am one very unhappy mother of the bride and one very disgustedcustomer.
Don’t count on their website for an accurate menu. Went there last night to get squash fritters, stir fry and key lime tart and NONE of those items were on the menu. I did have a delicious 2oz cocktail for $10 tho.
Overpriced. I wanted to like The Treehouse. I really did. But the food is just okay, and priced like it should be fantastic. The drinks are tiny. You should go to Holland House for a $12 drink that is more than an ounce or two.
Go to the Treehouse!. What a fabulous place! There’s an actual TREEHOUSE for crying out loud! How about that food, those drinks, and an amazing staff offering outstanding service!!!

I love the environment and the unique menu at The Treehouse.i live about an hour away so my visits are few, but it’s worth the drive. I had the cauliflower steak and it was the best meal I have had hands down from any restaurant, ever. Server looked like Hyde from 70’s Show and was super informative and patient with the group I was with. I love this place and hope to visit again soon!
