Disappointing. Everyone in our party was very disappointed. Took my wife and mother-in-law (at her request). It had been a long time since she had been there. I had veal saltimbocca. The meat was HORRIBLE, tasted like the meat was old. Just to be sure I had others taste it also – all agreed. Mother-in-law had grill chicken – very dry – over cooked. Wife had stuffed shrimp – it was good (1 out of 3 not great in this business). Wines were just ok. All were over priced for the quality (lack there of). Only one positive part – service was excellent. Wish I had sent the veal back and made the cook taste it! Will not return.Have been to Italy twice in recent years and several Italian Ristorante’s including recently in San Francisco – this experience did not come close to the average of the others.
Wonderful dinner. We had an outstanding experience at Valentino’s. Salads, entrees, and desserts were delicious. Our server, Dino, was excellent. We will definitely eat there again when in Nashville.
Very good food but poor service and a bit pricey for value received.
Mushroom Ravioli. The mushroom ravioli is irresistable. I LOVE it. the pasta is homemade and the filling is just amazing. They have really good calamari. It is a mix of calamari & zucchni. Yum
Great place for couples. Very romantic. I did think it was overpriced based on the food I was served. My companion loved the Osso Buco.
Enjoy upstairs bar area. The upstairs bar area of Valentino’s is a really hip place to meet friends and business associates after the workday. Evening specials in the V Bar (as it is called) are Monday – Friday from 5:00 to 7:00: $5.00 Martini’s $5.00 House Wines $5.00 Well Drinks. Many evenings you will find pianist Vince Cardell entertaining guests at the bar or the small tables upstairs.
I am Italian and this restaurant is too much overestimated. it is too much expensive and the appetizer was horrible, i can get better at walmart! the ravioli was decent but where 6 ravioli, i left thr restaurant hungry and angry! avoid it please!
