Good Sushi, but not Great Sushi. I ordered the wild wasabi roll. The sushi was good, but I was not wowed by it. The presentation was well executed. However, the description said it would be spicy, and it was not at all spicy. Instead, it had a very mellow flavor. The cream cheese was the predominant flavor. Also, it was rather high end. Great sushi, but I am not sure if I would go back.

Great food, good prices. Try the This Is How We Roll!

My boyfriend and I ate here over the weekend, and we were both quite pleased. We came in around 6pm on a Saturday, and were surprised (and a bit nervous) at how few patrons were there. But, I had heard that it was more popular as a lunch spot, so I wasn’t too worried. We were quickly seated and brought our drinks. We ordered three sushi rolls, and were brought complimentary spring rolls as an appetiser. While it wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, it was pretty decent considering the price. I especially liked the Crazy Roll. Under $25 for two people’s dinner? I’ll take it.

Nom NOM. Anytime I pass through the Gulch or go for a random shop to Urban Outfitters Wild Wasabi calls out to me. For first time sushi eaters this is the place to go. Plus, I managed to turn a sushi hater into a lover. That, my friend, is a proud accomplishment. I got the dynamite roll and their house special. Boy was that a lot of food, but all so worth it. There is a nice Korean woman in there who will make sure everything is perfect and make sure you have all that you need. Plus, the area is clean, spacious, and normally not that busy unless you catch their sushi buffet days. Haven’t tried that one yet, but I have been here 3 times and each time was just as good as the other. Pricing is average. Not cheap. Not expensive. So not everyday eating, but once or twice a week is okay.
