Although the owners other restaurant across the street is a bit better in my opinion I still eat at el mezcal about once a week for lunch or dinner. The service is snappy, food is excellent and the menu is fantastic. I’ve never left feeling like I overpaid but am always full. Their salsa and chips (free) are the best in knoxville.
