There’s just no beating this burger joint. I come here once every two weeks and I am always satisfied. Nobody can beat this burger joint!
Five Guys is just darn good.. Wow!! People actually complaining about the price? I order dinner for 2 under $15 easily. Sure, Five Guys may not be as cheap as mega burger chains McDonalds and Burger King. And for a buck or 2 less, those other joints will also add filler, preservatives, and a ton of other stuff I dont want. If you like real meat, eat at Five Guys. Otherwise, go order somewhere else and enjoy a cheaper burger bound together by seaweed and vegetable gum (its true)! I think part of the problem is portion control. The smaller burgers and fry orders will suit most people just fine and save them money too. Also, comparing Five Guys prices to a sit down restaurant is silly. Not many sit down restaurants can feed a couple for under $20. Furthermore, at Five Guys, I dont have to wait to be seated, wait for a menu, then a drink, then wait again to order, then refills, then wait for the check, and then change. Oh yeah, I dont have to tip at Five Guys either. The reviewers complaining about grease made me chuckle. Its a burger joint!! It specializes in burgers and fries. So we already know this is not a healthy diner. Expect grease. Complaining about grease here is like crying that you got a ticket while zipping a fire engine red Bugatti along the interstate. Anyway, Five Guys is a testament that other long-established chains have engrained in our minds that all burgers should be cheap. Five Guys is not the worlds greatest burger, but compared to other offerings in Knoxville, its darn good. Bring your appetite and order the smaller burgers. They will satisfy you plenty and save you a couple of bucks.
Mid day early afternoon is the best time to go. I had a bacon cheeseburger…it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Got grilled shrooms and onions with it and Cajun fries. The fries were a liie too salty but that’s probably bc of the seasoning. Next time I’ll try reg fries
Love the entire menu. I love the little cheeseburgers, so that I can eat more fries 🙂 I love the Cajun ones. The hot dogs are good also.
Grease, Salt, and Fat. Probably the worst restaurant in Knoxville, health-wise. Nothing but burgers, hotdogs, and fries. Everything is great, of course, but most grease-slathered things are. Horrible for vegetarians, not even a salad.
Perfection. Best burger in town!!!
Very hospitable, even near closing on a Saturday night. After leaving the UT game and visiting my son at his dorm, we stopped by Five Guys Burgers when leaving Knoxville. As it was near their closing time of 10 pm, we expected that they would dread seeing a group of 4 walking through the door. Instead we were met with friendly hellos and someone brought our food to the table versus us picking it up in the bar.Because they can have their freshly cooked burger with all the condiments they choose, my teenage children always enjoy Five Guys wherever we travel.
