This may be the best Mexican restaurant in knoxville. I’ve lived here for about 12 years and have been here about 8 times. Food is excellent, quick, authentic and the salsa bar is super cool! If you’re just in the mood for dessert they have NO QUESTION the best popsickles and hand made ice cream I’ve had in years.
I came expecting average Tex-Mex but what I discovered was that this place has made from scratch corn maz tortillas daily! And the tacos were actual Mexican street style tacos. I had al pastor and beef tongue and took them up to the salsa bar to choose from the salsas and a grabbed few radishes. After the tacos I went to the ice cream section of the restaurant, yes I said ICE CREAM! They make ice in the restaurant Mexican and American flavors. I couldn’t resist hand made Oreo and a Mexican one that was called Gansito. Soo amazing.
