Terrible customer service!. Insulted my mother – we left the shoppe immediately without making a purchase. We’re out of towners, so I cannot imagine why the owners or management would possibly be concerned about our single experience (and certainly don’t expect to hear from them regarding it) but we are obviously not the only people who have endured such treatment on a visit.
Not a fan. Bad customer service. They truly acted like I was a bother. The cupcakes tasted okay. But no better than anything I could make at home. I selection way terrible. I went to Gigi’s for the first time the same day and was overwelmed with the selection, beauty of the cupcakes and the cuttest box I’ve ever seen. What a presentation. I will not be back to The Cup. They need an overhaul on attitude and selection. What’s up Cup???
The cake portion was very moist & tasty but each cupcake had way too much icing a little bit of an overkill. I tried 3 different kinds. The Elvis, I believe that’s what it was called, is a peanut butter & banana. Good but lacking with the icing. The confetti which is their vanilla with sprinkles & their orange flavored cupcake. All were great cakes but the icing was too sweet and tasted generic like made old school with crisco. It was not pleasant.
So disappointed!. Recently went to The Cup, and I was more than dissatisfied with my experience. First of all there was hardly any variety in their window! I counted 5 different flavors of cakes and they just doubled those up in the window to look like there was more. Also their frosting was so gross, what little there was! If you are going to pay that much for a cupcake then I would think 1. they would be prettier 2. I should have had more frosting and had the option of removing the excess! By the way, what is up with the white couches???? Who has white couches and expects people to come in and eat at them… where the heck are the rest of the tables?
Not as great as i expected. When i went into the cup, i expected much more from the expirience than i recieved. I’ll say their cakes were decent, but the icing completely ruined the rest of it. it tasted like they scooped it right out of a betty crocker can of icing. there were barely any decorations on it (sprinkles, chocolate) which was dissapointing because i wanted to give it to my friends 6 year old girl, who loves sprinkles. 🙁 Not to mention their customer service was not friendly in the least. the girl at the counter hardly looked at me, much less gave a smile.I would go to another cupcake store anyday before going to this one again.
Hands down the best cupcakes in town. Always delicious. Also the cheapest gourmet cupcakes that I have seen around.
