Stopped by for lunch on a whim. Cool space, friendly service and the food was delicious! We got the pimento grilled cheese and the gruyere grilled cheese – both fantastic! Blueberry mojito and cold beer were the perfect drinks! We’ll be back!
Mixed results on this place. Positives: they have brunch on Sundays that include $1 Mimosas. Also the chicken and waffles and the shareable nacho chips were really good. My girl had the best Moscow Mule. Negatives: It ain’t cheap and the meat on the burger tastes funny.
Balter opened just over a month ago, but they’re already hitting on all cylinders. The food is excellent – but their charro beans and rice side steals the show. Their beers are top notch, as well. The Porter is especially good.
