Great service. Very nice location, walking distance from hotel. Food ok not great. Nice selection of cocktails and local beers. Would return for sure.

My friend loves this places and claims they have great dinner options. I can vouch for the Brunch and it was amazing. There are a lot of great options that range from healthy to amazing fat kid dishes.

We ended up here as a group because the place we wanted to go had a 2 hour wait. It was extremely busy at Market Square so I thought anywhere would have a wait. I was wrong. Blue Coast seated us immediately and that made me a little skeptical that they weren’t busy, but I tried to keep an open mind. The best thing about this place was the military discount and the fact they didn’t add gratuity even though we had 9 in our party. Service was a tad slow, but not too bad for the size of our group. My food was decent. I had the cheese steak sandwich which was just too over seasoned for my taste. I had the Brussels sprouts with it since I had read great reviews. Again, way over seasoned. With something lighter they might have been ok. Most everyone else in our party seemed pleased except one other person who ordered the Classic burger. She said it wasn’t anything special.

Knoxville Bound. A couple months ago I took a trip up to Knoxville with my professor and friend, because we both were interested in attending UTK in the fall (where yes, I will be going). After touring the campus and walking around the city for a couple hours, we heard the music from inside and decided to go on in to grab some late lunch. We all ended up having the cheese steak sandwhich (which I suggested, then everyone became interested in), which honestly I feel was to die for. The overall flavor of the dish was phenomenal, and it had just the right amount of spice – although it was also extremely messing, fork and knife advised. The only real downside to the experience was the lack of presence of staff. I will definitely be going back more than once we I move up there, and have already made plans to eat there with my roommate when we meet for orientation in the summer!

Backup Burger. Due to the two hour wait at Stock and Barrel, we decided to give this place a shot. It’s been run under a couple different names, but we decided to go for it. I was in burger mode and went for the Smokehouse burger. I was not disappointed. We also got their chips with guacamole, hummus, and queso. I almost got full from the appetizer and will probably be fiending for them in a couple days. Definitely worth a shot. They also stick with local meats, cheeses, and produce.

I have always seen Pork Belly on cooking shows and now I have tried it, and it was good 🙂 We also had the queso as an appetizer, and my husband tried their burger- both were also good. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable for going out to dinner. I would go back.

Would NOT recommend!. We were a party of 6 and after being seated, waited another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. We ordered fish tacos and waited over 30 minutes until we were served. Our order arrived with soft tacos a little stiff & the fish tough and cold. (We had been to this restaurant several times in the past and loved the fish tacos and wonderful homemade hot sauces.) After the waitress asked us how everything was, and we told her how disappointed we were, the manager came and explained to us that they had upgraded their restaurant with a new exciting menu. He gave us discount cards for our next visit. We were disappointed and embarrassed that we had invited our friends to accompany us to what we thought would still be a great place to eat. Cold food, higher prices…we left the discount card on the table. Not impressed with service or management & will not go back!
