Downtown, NorthShore- worth a visit. Casual Pint is a franchise. Reasonable selection of beers, 20 or so, not as good as some places but you’ll find one to try. And, really, how many can one try at one visit. Prices, typical for draft/no happy hour, bit high for carry-out or growlers. Worth a stop, but the experience varies by franchisee. Natalie (Downtown) and Nancy (NorthShore) are friendly and good hosts. Tom at the newly opened Hardin Valley franchise isn’t, even when it’s not busy- very disappointing. Alternates for local brew are Calhouns (multiple locations), Smoky Mountain (same as Calhouns), Downtown Grill. Calhouns varies, but original location at Pellissippi and Bearden run to bartenders who take their hosting seriously and are good for repeat customers.
Very clean, very simple, very cool place! I highly recommend checking this place out if you have yet to. Lots of beer to choose from, couches, TV’s, bar stools/tables, a bar, and even smaller, more intimate tables to sit at. Great spot!
