Went last night for the first time after heating great things about the food, atmosphere, and the owners other restaurants in Johnson city. Everything lived up to its rep, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We just sat at the lower bar and had beers and an app. We had the dip trio, and all 3 were great. Service was also good. We will be back for sure for dinner. This spot will be going into our restaurant rotation!
We went for a late snack and it was pretty good! The wings were tasty (though they did seem a bit pricey) but man, the Porky Pie Flat was GREAT. We had some hummus as well that was really good. Would definitely go back! Fun little neighborhood joint.
New Find. Our party sampled three dishes – two flats and the veggie panini. The sandwich was tasty but the flavors of both flats (Porky and Cajun) were outstanding. Beer offerings pretty darn good. Will be back. Service was fine for a busy night. The area is up and coming but still a bit gritty. The atmosphere inviting, the crowd mixed ages . . . all that’s missing is some live music.

Central Flats and Taps. First visit and really enjoyed the food. Had a simple Pepperoni and Bacon Flat. The server provided great service during the lunch hours. Also, saw one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Dark brown eyes and long brunette hair, very exotic. Maybe our paths will cross again someday.
Work & Play. I have (currently do not) worked for CF&T. I know what goes on behind the scenes and you would be pleased with it! Everything is so fresh and delicious (food, wine, beer, etc). The employees are personable and work hard to make sure you have a great time. If you have any questions the staff is knowledgeable about the products, whether it be food or beer, and can guide you in the right direction! Go for a nice date night or a late night hang-out! Can’t wait for the game side to open up!! 🙂
Great vibe. Took a date to Central Flats and Taps for the first time, the other night. Fun atmosphere, no loud music, and the food/drinks were great. I’ll def be back!
