The restaurant is located near a college, which explains the inflated rating. The sushi was mediocre, with a very small portion of fish on top. And for $10 was overpriced. The spicy mayo was not homemade. The cashew chicken was good, but too heavy on the fish sauce. The miso soup was good, but too hot to eat until I finished my meal. I wouldn’t eat here again and have had much better sushi in Knoxville including at Tomo.

We had an excellent wait staff, he was very knowledgable about the different dishes. The food was incredible, authentic, and perfectly spiced. Sushi was amazing. Will definitely return to do the spice challenge.

Delicious curry. Inexpensive prices. Nice staff. Definitely worth checking out. .

A good selection of food, particularly for lunch. It is located away from Cumberland Ave. Sometimes this means you can avoid a heavy lunch crowd from UT and downtown. Their sushi is very reasonable, and the drunken noodles are excellent.

Katherine Cox. Excellent Thai Restaurant – best in Knoxville!! Try the Green Curry with Chicken – delicious!

A Refreshing Change from Bland Cafeteria Food. When we college kids have bored of the tasteless or unbearably unhealthy food our dining locations offer us, we head to Chaiyo’s for a refreshing change. The food and service is always excellent, if a little expensive. If you fear the spicy or the sushi, the Pad Thai is always my choice.
