How have I missed this place all these years. The first thing you realize when you site down is that the place is full of regulars and they just keep coming. The food was outstanding, service even better and the prices are very reasonable. This will become my new favorite in town for breakfast and lunch.

No doubt the best breakfast in Knoxville. Excellent garden omelet and the colonels potatoes, a kind of American fries are to die for. The owner knows how to cook! So much better than longs drugstore or gourmet market. The atmosphere is simple down home but the food is the best

Good. Friendly and warm restaurant with great service. The food is cheap, simple and good. Delicious potatoes and generous portions.

Ate the gyro platter today. Even the least exciting item on the plate, potatoes, were tantalizing. Freshly made, true flavors every time that I have eaten here. It’s getting very crowded.05 Apr, 2013The Greek salad was crazy good. The turkey melt was also tasty, however fries are pretty standard. Definitely going back soon! This guy is a legit chef that is proud of his product.

Great food.. Unfortunately the word is out and lunchtime is getting crowded. For the best Greek food in east TN, Colonels wins hands down.

THE GYRO!!!. So good! I’ve just visited this place for the second time and after tasting the gyro I know I will be a frequent visitor.

A hidden Gem waiting to be discovered. Awesome Food. Ted (who is originally from Greece) is an amazing cook. I always look forward to tasting his latest lunch special; the Spinach Pie with Greek Salad is a must do! All the food they serve is fresh, never frozen, and it shows. From the fresh Hamburgers with Crinkle Fries to the latest specials you owe it to yourself to try this place. You will be hooked!! Mickey does a wonderful job attending to your every need; your glass of tea will NEVER be empty! This hidden Gem is located just off Kingston Pike on Newcom Avenue. Just turn North at the stoplight at the Sequoia Hills Krogers and go about 50 yards. The quality of the food is excellent, you’d pay twice as much for the same thing (IF you could find such a thing) elsewhere.
