Way over priced!!. You cant order a sandwich al a cart. You HAVE to pay for fries even if u dont want them. There deli steamed sandwiches are extremely over priced. Over $11 for a sandwich with fries i didnt want and wont eat!! Ridiculous.

What a burger!. Went into Gus’s today for lunch and settled on getting the cheeseburger. I felt a bit brave so I went with the double with lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Now, I had heard these burgers were big, but my goodness, I was not expecting a full pound of burger to face me.Service was ridiculously fast. My order was taken when I walked in after giving the menu a once over, I paid within two minutes and as I was finishing filling up my drink at the fountain machine, my order came up…grand total, 4 minutes at most. It was around 1:30pm so the bigger lunch crowd had finished I assume.Sitting down to enjoy my meal, I still felt a little intimidated by the mountain of burger sitting in front of me; and there were fries as well! That burger was wonderful. Even though it was cooked well-done, it was moist and very tasty. I was surprised I was able to eat the whole thing, though I did leave about half the fries as they were just too much. A dill pickle spear to finish it off and back to work I went.Service was prompt, friendly, and to the point. I think these guys know good and well what they’ve got going here. It’s a classic dive within a two minute walk from my office. I really couldn’t ask for anything more there.I’ll definitely be a regular I believe.
