The Hilton is a good place to stay. The staff is great and helpful. There are plenty of options for food and drinks. There is a Starbucks inside the lobby, a bar, and a restaurant. I come down once a year for a tech conference at the conference center, which is close by. The only thing that disappoints me is the WiFi available. It was barely usable for my needs. With Knoxville being a technology center and the school nearby, the connection speeds should have been better.
The lunch buffet is one of the best bargains downtown. All you can eat with salad bar, soup, meats and veggies, and desserts for $8.95 plus discounts after your first visit. All house made and delicious! M-F only.
Service was very slow on several occasions with no reason or compensation. Two hours for a pizza is too long.another time over 30 minutes for a salad. Ugh!!!
