I typically go to Bearden location. Excellent sushi! Went for lunch after a movie on the strip. The service was not pleasant. Our waiter never smiled. The lady that seats us was not up front when we got there.
Just bad. The Ceviche was a bowl of tomatoes and onions and the worst I have ever eaten. Waiter never asked how the food was with my guess being he probably does’t usually receive a positive response. Bottled beer was warm. Sushi was mediocre. Not impressed in the least bit.
Unsure of the restaurant’s authenticity, but I’ve never been disappointed. Granted, I only come on half-off selected sushi roll-nights (Monday and/or Thursday), the sushi has never failed to be delicious. Even with them being super slammed/busy on those nights particularly, the ingredients always seem irresistible and mouth-watering. The fish also typically seems fresh (as possible). However, If you plan on going to half-off night and you are mildly impatient (like me), go for an early or late dinner. If you think you’re going to get right in, especially with a party of 3+ at prime-dinna’-time, you’re wrong. Be that as it may, every roll I have tried (which is most of them offered on half-price night(s)) is incredible. Although my credentials are mostly likely weak in reference to this type of restaurant due to having done little experimentation in the sushi-realm, I definitely recommend this to first-time sushi adventurers. It will be a pleasant experience.
Love it. Continues to be a favorite, though sometimes difficult to get in. Needs to take reservations
Absolutely shocked! Totally exceeded my expectations, especially considering that it is Knoxville, TN. In reality better the best experience I had at my two favorites, SushiSamba, Las Vegas, and Dragonfly in Gainesville, FL.
Great Food and Service. We tried the Downtown NAMA first it was good. We sat out on the side the patio. It’s a great place for a light lunch and people watch. We tried the Bearden NAMA, the next weekend and again great food and service. This store also this one appears to be pet friendly.
The staff are very polite and courteous, but the prices are freaking rediculous. They tried to charge me $20 for 6 pieces of sushi. GTFO!!!!
