The food here is GREAT! There was a place like this in Memphis but it closed down and I’m SO HAPPY that I finally found a new Chicago style place to eat at! Love love love! I could just do without some of the Chicago Blackhawks decor…as a Nashville Preds fan 😉
As of March 2016, parking is a major problem they have the entire Cumberland strip torn up and you will need to park 1/2 mile away assuming classes are not in session at UT.The gyros were great! They are a little over 6.00 and are big. The pita bread has a great texture and was very tasty. They have tons of oil in them so eat them in the wrapper! I learned the hard way and went through 6 napkins. The hummus was good, but a little pricey at 5.99. I tried it since they had 2.00 off today. It was topped with a lot of olive oil, so I was a little sceptical, but it tasted great.Interestingly enough, they even made an effort with the presentation of the plate which usually means they take pride in the food. Restaurant state inspection score was 100.

Fast, friendly, great food!. If you have not been here please try it. i discovered this place when i was living across the street at Clement. it is a small restaurant, but the staff is friendly, the food comes out fast and is amazing every time. it is also very inexpensive. a meal for one is around $7, but if you go with two or three people i recommend the double or triple gyro plate, the double is i think around $12 and the triple is only like $15 or so. however i do not recommend getting more than one gyro per person. believe me these things fill you up especially here.
Chicago’s finest in Knoxville!. Best gyro’s ever! Easily the best in town. My son isn’t as adventurous and doesn’t won’t try gyros but he does love the burgers. Crispy fries on the side complete the meal. Very authentic Chicago tastes!! My husband would eat there every day if he could!
