The Best Coffee in Tennessee!. This is my favorite coffee spot in Tennessee.. It’s so good! Their coffee is free of nasty chemicals and it’s not grown with slave labor. They put a lot of love into their coffee.. Order a Cappuccino here and see what I mean.. The owners actually work and interact with customers! The interior is so charming and they put new local art up every week. Meg is such a doll and I love seeing her at the Farmers Market every Saturday. She said they’re working on Gluten Free baked yummies, I can’t wait! Old City Java is by far the best Coffee shop I’ve been to in Tennessee. I visit at least once a week. They use cold drip, so it never tastes burned like so many other places. I love their coffee!!
I’ve been to Italy, France, Turkey and all over the world. You will not find better coffee than at Old City Java. It’s fair trade & organic as well. The owners really care and run a clean business. Meg bakes all the giddiest herself, from scratch.
Best Coffee in Knoxville and SCONES!. Get an excellent cup right here in Old City. The scones are perfect and amazing.
Excellent coffee. We thought our lattes were well-made; the beans were of excellent quality– no burnt taste, just rich, full-bodied flavor.We went late at night, and there were very few people there. This was a nice place to sit and talk.
