Worst. Drinks. Ever.. I normally do not even review restaurants on here, but I went to the Sky Box for the first time on First Friday and ordered several drinks. I thought maybe the first two were just abnormally weak, but once we got the second round we were pretty certain they are just all awful. I wouldn’t waste my money on their mixed drinks.
We had a GREAT time at Sky Box, the staff was wonderful and the food was awesome…the wings are Fantastic! Can’t wait to go again!!!! I give Sky Box an A+.
Major disappointment. This is definitely one of my least favorite places to go downtown. We were originally excited to finally have a sports bar downtown, but Sky Box does not deliver. The servers are not friendly or helpful. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders. The food is not very good or seasoned well, and you leave the bar/restaurant smelling horribly of french fry grease. Needless to say, I do not plan on a return trip.
Eat Before You Come. We went with another couple to watch a NFL playoff game. All 4 of us agreed the food was very poor. Tasted like it came from a freezer at at warehouse buying club. Apps, wings, sandwiches universally poor quality. Some of the TVs were several seconds behind the others which is very annoying. It is a nice place otherwise; with a nice beverage selection. Lot’s of good places you can eat downtown with much better food, and come here after you’re not hungry.
Great Food. Very busy restaurant, wait time doesn’t mean lousy food or service, have a beer and relax. Atmosphere is amazing and the chef rocks!!! Bring your friends!!!
Worst dining experience of my life hands down. I made an account just to warn you not to come here. We came on the night of an nfl playoff game and it was a mistake. Terrible service, waited hours for low quality food, and the tv’s we’re out of sync. I would not recommend
It’s like from dusk ’til dawn downstairs, and a one man show from the bartender. Cool vibe – cheap drinks and comfy arrangements.
